A Chartered Accountant with more than twenty years of professional experience, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Banking & Finance, earned magna cum laude from Lincoln University in Pennsylvania. Mr. Ferguson began his public accounting career with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Philadelphia, where he obtained his CPA designation, before returning to the region to serve with Ernst & Young LLP (Bahamas), where he obtained his Chartered Accountant designation. During his audit career, he worked on significant engagements involving financial reporting, regulatory compliance and risk management across multiple industries.

Mr. Ferguson has built an extensive career in financial leadership, auditing, corporate governance and strategic advisory services across the aviation, finance, technology, consultancy and industrial sectors. He served for approximately a decade as Chief Financial Officer and Director of Commercial Development of SkyBahamas Airlines, has advised businesses on financial reporting, internal controls, financing, procurement and organisational accountability, and currently serves as an executive in the industrial and natural gases industry. His governance experience includes service as a board director in the cooperative financial services sector. His professional background, together with his commitment to ethics, community service and sound financial stewardship, positions him to make a valuable contribution as a Commissioner of the Integrity Commission of the Turks and Caicos Islands.
